1. About Us

ArthaMatrix Technologies LLP (“ArthaMatrix”, “we”, “us” or “our”) owns and operates arthamatrix.com and arthamatrix.in, and provides a desktop software application designed to assist users in generating financial statements in the format applicable to Non-Corporate Entities (“NCE”) from accounting data, including data derived from Tally.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you visit our website, purchase or renew a licence, or contact us:

• name, firm or entity name, email address and mobile number;
• billing address, GSTIN and invoice details;
• licence, activation, renewal and support details;
• payment status, transaction reference and refund details received from our payment gateway;
• technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and website usage logs;
• information voluntarily shared by you for customer support.

We do not store complete card details, UPI PINs, net banking passwords or similar payment authentication credentials.

3. Treatment of Accounting and Tally Data

Our software is a desktop application. Accounting data imported from or derived from Tally is processed locally on the user's computer.

ArthaMatrix does not ordinarily upload, access or store your accounting records, client books, ledgers, vouchers or generated financial statements on its servers.

Where you voluntarily share accounting files, screenshots or reports with us for technical support, we will use them only to resolve your support request and will delete them within 30 days after closure of the support request, unless retention is required for legal, regulatory or dispute-resolution purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have lawful authority to process any client or third-party data through the software.

4. How We Use Information

We may use your information to:

• process purchases and yearly licence renewals;
• activate and manage software licences;
• issue invoices and process refunds;
• provide customer support;
• send licence, renewal, security and service communications;
• maintain website security and prevent misuse;
• comply with legal, tax and regulatory requirements.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share limited information with:

• payment gateway and banking service providers;
• website hosting, email and technology service providers;
• professional advisers such as accountants, auditors or legal advisers;
• governmental, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain:

• purchase, invoice, payment and licence records for the period required under applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements;
• customer support correspondence for a reasonable period necessary for service management and dispute resolution;
• files voluntarily shared for technical support for up to 30 days after closure of the support request, unless longer retention is legally required.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information handled by us.

Since your accounting data is processed locally through the desktop application, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your computer, backups, Tally data, generated reports, login credentials and licence information.

8. Your Rights and Grievances

Subject to applicable law, you may request correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy grievance by contacting us.

9. Third-Party Services

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways. Their handling of payment information is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Tally and other third-party names or trademarks belong to their respective owners. ArthaMatrix is not affiliated with or endorsed by such third parties unless expressly stated.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on arthamatrix.com and arthamatrix.in with the revised effective date.
